A PEI MLA posted a 45-page document outlining changes he would like to see to the current RTA. He’s also doing research on landlord rights and rent increases. His research included holding an open session with constituents asking for suggestions. The open session was contentious and current tenants didn’t hold back on their thoughts. Unfortunately, advocacy groups, governments and media have purposefully generated a narrative where facts are obscured and reality is distorted.
