A number of BC Developers sent a letter, asking the federal and provincial governments to loosen restrictions on foreign investment for the housing sector. The Premier of BC responded to the letter and left little doubt as to the government’s position. Unfortunately, as with most government policies, the unintended consequences may not have been fully thought out but the letter did offer alternatives, plus a foreshadowing if things aren’t addressed.
