MPAC Multi-Residential Property Assessment Information Sessions

Recently, MPAC made changes to modernize multi-residential property assessments. While FRPO advocated for and supports these changes, we all recognize the assessment system can be challenging to navigate. To help understand the changes, the data inputs used and the opportunities available to you to minimize your costs and resources, FRPO and MPAC are hosting seven multi-residential property assessment information sessions in January 2017.

MPAC representatives will assist multi-residential property owners and property managers in understanding the assessment changes, the Request for Reconsideration process and the information that is available to property owners.

Each information session will include opportunities for owners/property managers to meet one-on-one with MPAC’s valuation staff to discuss their individual assessments. These 1:1 sessions should be pre-booked via RSVP. Meetings will be scheduled on a first come – first serve basis. If demand exceeds time available, an MPAC representative will schedule an appointment on an alternate date. To register for your preferred session or webinar, please email MPAC directly at consultation@mpac.ca and include the session you wish to attend. Webinar login information will be provided upon registering. FRPO will not be accepting registrations directly for these sessions. There is no cost to attend and coffee/continental breakfast will be provided for the in person sessions. Space is limited, please register as soon as possible.

Monday, January 16th – Old Mill Inn, Toronto (in person session) 8:30 am – 10:00 am session with one on one meetings taking place from 10:oo am – 12:00 pm

Tuesday, January 17th – Waterfront Centre, Hamilton (in person session) 9:30 am – 11:00 am session with one on one meetings taking place from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Thursday, January 19th – Bestwestern Lamplighter Inn, London (in person session) 9:30 am – 11:00 am session with one on one meetings taking place from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Tuesday, January 24th – Ottawa Conference & Event Centre, Ottawa (in person session) 9:30 am – 11:00 am session with one on one meetings taking place from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Wednesday, January 25th – Northern Ontario Webinar (held online) 9:30 am – 10:30 am

Thursday, January 26th  – Provincial Webinar (held online) 9:30 – 10:30 am

Thursday, January 26th – Taxpayer Representative Webinar (held online) This session is intended for those members that use the services of taxpayer representatives 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
