May 30th: Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies (FSWC)
Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies (FSWC) is a non-profit human rights education and advocacy organization dedicated to promoting greater tolerance, justice and respect for diversity in Canadian society.
FSWC inspires and empowers Canadians to raise their voices for freedom, democracy and human rights. We have educated over 100,000 Canadian students through our dynamic, award- winning Tour for Humanity mobile education classroom. FSWC was recently recognized by the Canadian Race Relations Foundation with an Award of Excellence for the Tour for Humanity program.
FSWC works to build relationships with different racial, religious and cultural communities, opening dialogue, generating discussion and creating understanding in order to work towards creating a better world.
The Spirit of Hope is the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies’ annual fundraising dinner. It brings together over 2,000 business leaders, philanthropists, patrons and Canadian leaders to honour and celebrate Simon Wiesenthal’s values. FSWC is a Canadian registered charitable organization that invests millions of dollars on education and social action in Canada. It promises to be a great event, hearing the current viewpoints of three very prominent former political world leaders regarding the status of events affecting us today.
Consider putting a table of your friends together. You will be glad you did.
