Lifetime Developments and INK Entertainment host media preview at Bisha Hotel and Residences in downtown Toronto

A new luxury lifestyle hotel brand is coming this summer to downtown Toronto. Bisha Hotel and Residences is a joint partnership between Toronto-based Lifetime Developments and INK Entertainment, Canada’s leading lifestyle and entertainment company. The 44-storey mixed-use tower will house 96 hotel rooms, 355 residential units, several restaurants and cafes and a plethora of luxurious amenities.
Last night BuzzBuzzNews got a sneak peek at the sleek interior spaces and exquisite rooftop terrace at a media preview hosted by the developers.
“We had a strong vision of what Bisha was to become from the outset,” says Charles Khabouth, CEO of INK Entertainment. “We wanted to create something totally new in the city — a destination address that embodies laidback luxury with an edge. Now, as we get close to opening and put the finishing touches on the hotel, excitement is building as our vision is becoming a reality.”
When the hotel holds its soft opening in August, Bisha will be the latest collaboration between INK and New York City-based luxury hotel chain Loews Hotels & Co. Within the complex, guests will have access to several restaurants led by ICONINK, including a lobby bar with a DJ booth and baby grand piano, a 24-hour cafe with a terrace and a soon-to-be-announced signature restaurant with a celebrity chef.
The guest suites consist of a mix of king and queen rooms as well as a two-level luxury suite designed by Lenny Kravitz. The music superstar’s company, Kravitz Design, was enlisted by Lifetime Developments and INK Entertainment to design the exclusive suite to reflect Kravitz’s music, art and travels. The 2,000-square-foot suite comes complete with an expansive outdoor terrace with spectacular views of the city and the CN Tower.
The exterior of the building boasts a Wallman Architects-designed glass tower that rises from the heritage facade of the 19th-century George Crookshank House which once stood on the site. The carefully refurbished red brick structure will form the dramatic entryway into the stylish Studio Munge-designed lobby, with its bold patterned marble floors, embellished gold accents and dramatic glass ceiling art.
Studio Munge also designed the open concept residential units which have already begun occupancy. The homes are appointed with nine foot ceilings, expansive windows and exposed concrete ceilings. Standard features and finishes include pre-finished engineered floors, contemporary kitchen cabinetry, natural stone countertops and backsplashes, and a stainless steel appliance package with a stove, microwave oven, integrated refrigerator, exhaust fan and dishwasher.
Residential amenities include pet walking/feeding services, housekeeping, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, business centre and private residents lounge, with a catering kitchen and wet bar on the third floor. Up on the 44th floor, residents and hotel guests can indulge in world-class fare and drinks at the bar or unwind with a dip in the stunning infinity edge swimming pool overlooking the CN Tower and city below.
Remaining suites at Bisha start from $609,900. To learn more about the development call 647 278 1780 to make an appointment at the sales centre.
